FISH Network

In 2025, Fauquier FISH began partnering with organizations across the county to pilot a network of satellite food pantries and community blessing boxes, expanding access to food support and helping ensure no neighbor goes hungry. Many families face barriers to traditional pantry access, including transportation challenges, work schedules, weather, or the stigma sometimes associated with asking for help. Through collaborations with schools, churches, civic groups, and community partners, FISH helps support both existing and newly established little free pantries by providing meal kits, pantry staples, and in some cases the pantry structures themselves. These weather-proofed neighborhood pantries offer discreet, 24/7 access to non-perishable food and meal kits, making help more accessible within the communities where people live.
