Through a collaboration with Fauquier Food Bank and the Warrenton Branch of the Salvation Army, Fauquier FISH has begun a 6 month pilot program to stop hunger in the more rural areas of Fauquier County. Each month the Mobile Food Pantry will visit designated spots in Remington and Marshall and will distribute a weeks’ worth of food to each family who comes by. The goal of the program is to reach families who can not come into Warrenton, where FISH and the Food Bank are located. The Mobile Food Pantry truck made its inaugural trip on Wednesday April 5, 2017 to Remington.
